Dr. Chase Trejo
Dr. Chase Trejo joined Dr. Grant’s practice in 2019. Dr. Trejo graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio with high honors before moving on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah. Dr. Trejo received advanced training in placing dental implants at the White Cap Institute. He enjoys educating patients about their oral health and is passionate about providing quality care in a comfortable manner. He always strives to determine a patient’s personal goals and needs in order to better restore their smiles and confidence.
Dr. Trejo and his wife Jordan are the parents of four daughters. He loves exploring the Treasure Valley’s abundant outdoors activities including snowboarding, soccer, and disc golf. He is a self-proclaimed Star Wars nerd and hot sauce expert. He has also been known to do some cliff diving, including a 45 foot plunge at Lake Powell!
Dr. Mark Larsen, DMD
Dr. Mark Larsen joined Grant Dental in 2022. Dr. Larsen grew up in Utah and attended the University of Utah. He is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 2008 and has been practicing in Tucson, Arizona until joining Grant Dental. He has completed advanced training in dental implants and surgical procedures beginning in 2010. He believes strongly in caring for his patients with a conservative philosophy towards treatment, and is IV sedation certified for his patient’s comfort. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Larsen and his wife Hilary are the parents of 4 children. When not helping his patients, Dr. Larsen loves outdoor activities (camping, fishing, hiking, sports) playing board games or watching movies with his family, and traveling.
Dr. Brent Wheeler, DMD
Dr. Brent Wheeler joined Grant Dental in 2022. Dr. Wheeler is a graduate of Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine in Salt Lake City, and is a 3rd generation dentist. He believes in providing dental care that is patient-centric and informed by a full understanding of a patient’s oral health needs and desires.
Dr. Wheeler and his wife Alyssa are the parents of 2 sons. When not helping patients with their oral health, Dr. Wheeler loves to spend time with his family, enjoys woodworking, and playing with the latest technology gadgets for his home.
Dr. Dylan Morgan, DMD
Dr. Dylan Morgan joined Grant Dental in 2023. Originally from the Washington coast, Dr. Morgan is a graduate of Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine in the Salt Lake City area. Dr. Morgan served for 4 years as a general dentist in the Army, and will continue to serve in the Army reserves. Dr. Morgan is the son of a dentist who has seen first hand the impact that caring and quality dental care can make in the lives of his patients, and is excited to create long term personal relationships with his patients.
Dr. Morgan and his wife Arianna love to hike and play volleyball. When outside of the dental office, he also enjoys fantasy novels and playing board games.
Tim – Marketing and HR
Tim is our human resources and marketing manager, and is known as a jack of all trades around the office. Prior to joining Dr. Grant’s team, he graduated with a pair of degrees from BYU: a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology and a JD from the law school. As you might guess, his work history includes engineering and working as a disability attorney. He also won best smile in his graduating class due to his oversized dimples. He loves writing, especially when he can be creative and compose snarky emails for Dr. Grant’s patient base. He also has a special, nerdy place in heart for Excel spreadsheets. Tim hopes his touch in the office makes it a fun place for employees and patients. He and his wife Tiffini have 5 kids, and they love to vacation to national parks, especially if there is a beautiful and not-too-strenuous hike available for the family. He also loves reading fantasy novels and watching Netflix, but both of these activities tend to end with him asleep on the couch while Tiffini rolls her eyes. Tim also loves to cook and is renown for his insatiable sweet tooth, which does explain a few things.
Codi – Billing Coordinator
Professionally Codi is known for her OCD personality and has been called the checklist queen. That means she takes care of the details to ensure you get the best care possible. She is passionate about seeing people smile and really enjoys thinking of new ideas to help the practice run more efficiently. She loves helping her team meet and exceed their goals. They often celebrate with their epic victory dance.
Personal passions include being creative, decorating and designing things for her new home. When not at work you can find her hanging out with family, camping, 4 wheeling, watching Jimmy Fallon, reading, or crafting. Favorite weekend pastimes include site seeing around Idaho, Utah, and Oregon. She grew up in sunny St. George, Utah. Guilty pleasures include Jimmy Fallon, Dr. Pepper, Little Debbie Swiss Cake rolls, and Sonic ice.
Candice – Dental Hygienist
Candice is our lead dental hygienist, and is a dedicated and caring clinician as well as an indispensable member of our leadership team. Originally from Emmett, she is a Idaho native and graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Idaho State University. Candice’s husband is also in healthcare, working as a PA here in the valley. They love their dog Buford (a Dachshund), hiking, fishing, and drag racing with her family at the Firebird Raceway in Emmett.
Jeneal – Dental Hygienist
Jeneal is one of our All-Star hygienists! Jeneal has always valued education, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from OIT and a Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix – she even taught clinical hygiene OIT for 5years. She loves improving her patient’s smiles and making them feel good when they leave. But what she loves about her job is getting to know her patients on a personal level. She is known for her gentle touch while cleanings teeth. Home life keeps her busy too: she married with three kids and one dog. During her (very limited) free time she loves golfing, shopping and going to family functions. Jeneal also likes to travel and go to her children’s sporting events. Her guilty pleasures are watching reality TV, drinking caffeine and eating sweets.
Danielle – Dental Hygienist
Danielle does a great job making sure your cleaning is a great experience, no matter which of our hygienists you see! She has a knack for helping new or fearful patients feel comfortable in our office, and gets excited when she can educate patients about their oral health and she can see the “light bulb” turn on. Danielle grew up in California, but we try not to hold that against her. When she is not at work you will find her with her husband and three kids, but she also likes anything involving “water and sunshine”: camping, boating, or swimming all are high on her to-do list. In addition to her family, she could never give up her dogs or her coffee.
Jessica – Hygiene Coordinator
Jessica is our new Hygiene Coordinator! She has been a fixture in the front office, with her natural friendliness and wonderful smile making our office a happier place for anyone who walks in the door. Jessica also graduated from Oliver Finley with her cosmetology license. She recently married her long-time boyfriend in his ancestral homeland of Thailand and they have one adorable young son. Travel is definitely one of her favorite things! Jessica loves doing anything outdoors, especially swimming and hiking. When she is not at work she loves to spend time with her husband, going to local shows, and listening to new music. She also loves doing hair. Her guilty pleasures are watching reality TV, trying new recipes off of Pinterest, and drinking coffee.
