Staff Bios

We are excited to introduce you to our team of professionals. These are the indivuduals that make our office such a wonderful place to visit. As you get to know our team you'll find out how dedicated we are to making your visit as enjoyable as possible. Each member of our team is completely committed to providing service of the highest quality.

Scott W. Grant, DMD

Dr. Grant graduated from the Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. While there he was honored with the Pierre Fauchard Academy Leadership Award and the International College of Dentists Leadership Award.

He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Dr. Grant is passionate about continuing education and is always researching and being trained in the latest technology and techniques in order to offer his patients optimal care.

As an Idaho native, he was happy to return to his hometown to begin his practice. He brought with him his beautiful and talented wife, Sadie. They have added two children to their family, Ethan and Halle. Ethan, 3, is already an aspiring dentist and gives his dad a nightly "dental check-up."

Dr. Grant loves hunting, fishing, athletics and especially BYU sports. He is also passionate about bringing quality dental care to those without access. He has travelled frequently to the Dominican Republic with the G3 Foundation to offer humanitarian aid and has also participated with the Caring Foundation for Kids to give local children access to dental care.

Kristen

Kristen has been a Certified Dental Assistant with Dr. Grant for the past three years. Before this she was a personal fitness trainer for ten years. She is a cheerleader for our patients and her optimism and positive energy are contagious. She grew up in a large and happy family in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and learned to love sports at an early age. She loves snow/waterskiing, racquetball, soccer, and weightlifting. She is also an eager sports spectator and enjoys jewelry making and being outdoors. Kristen is married and has three equally energetic children.

Kristy

Kristy comes to us with extensive assisting experience and previous to her work with Dr. Grant, she was a dental assisting instructor. We value her knowledge and expertise in both the front and back office. Having been born and raised in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, she is a lover of the beautiful outdoors and is dedicated to her family. She enjoys camping, 4-wheeling, and fishing with family and friends. Kristy has an infectious laugh and a mischievous smile. She is a small town girl with a big heart, and we appreciate her dedication to patient care and her personal integrity. As the only single team member she is very patient with the over-eager matchmaking efforts of four married women!

Karen

As our dental hygienist, Karen is an indispensible team member and a cornerstone of patient care. Karen was raised here in Boise and is an alumnus of Meridian High School. While attending a local college she was student body president. Karen has been married to a military man for 11 years and has had the opportunity to live all over the country. She recently relocated here from North Carolina, where she worked as a hygienist at Camp LeJeune. She is very active in sports and the outdoors and enjoys camping, skiing, softball, baseball and soccer. She has also coached her two children’s sports teams. Karen is a well-trained and gentle hygienist. Like Dr. Grant, she takes advantage of opportunities to receive continual training in her field. We value her leadership skills and her desire to create the best possible dental experience for patients in our practice.

Trevi

Trevi is the financial coordinator in our practice. She grew up in Idaho and returned to Boise after she and her husband, Keith, finished school. She graduated with a degree in English from BYU and still loves literature and history. She has been married for 19 years and has four really terrific kids, ages 16 to 7. Being a mom keeps her busy, but she finds time to enjoy music with her daughters, "Dr. Who" with her sons, and sushi with her husband. Trevi loves the dental field and feels like there is always something new to learn. She loves seeing the change in people’s lives and health when they get a new smile! Trevi is an integral part of our team and is continually making sure that the office runs smoothly. She is innovative and always looking for ways to make our practice better.
